Flipping heck! That's it! All down hill from here folks! The final Bank Holiday before Christmas. Can you believe it? I mean time really does fly by. Don't take my word for it. Even teenagers & early 20 somethings are noticing it. Now I am not implying for one moment that time has actually increased. Maybe our fuller lives are creating the illusion of time accelerating away. But boy, it really does seem that way. One minute it's christmas, the next Cadbury creme eggs are wheeled out, then ya on the beach soaking the rays, dressing the kids up as skeletons and violating the neighbors peace and then it's christmas again.
I always feel right fed up at this time of year. I love spring when things come alive and the trees begin to blossom. The nights get lighter and warmer (well in any other country on earth but the UK) and everything is well. I like the dry cold winter nights but these days it just always so dam wet and dark. Maybe that's why people feel the time is going by. There is just no correlation between the seasons as they seem to have all merged into one huge wet miserable cycle. Not that I totally dislike the rain. In fact I love rain. I am the first to smile when I see rain. But that is normal rain, not the constant rain we have had for a few years. Still, we always have global warming to look forward to.........
(whispers) we do still have global warming don't we?
(voice off!) Scientists are working on something more feasable!)
That's it from me, goodnight!
